Who sees your growers' fields?
SwathMap Data-Use Statement · Effective Date: October 15, 2026
This statement is part of the SwathMap Terms of Service.
- Your maps are yours. You own your photos, maps, boundaries and exports. We use them to make and deliver your maps, to support you, and to keep the service secure.
- No other company gets your data for its own use. We don't share it with any other company, our affiliates included, for that company's own purposes.
- We never sell your data, or training copies or training sets made from it. We never use it to market to or contact your growers.
- Training, once the switch is in your account, and only while you leave it on. Your photos, maps, boundaries and other drawings, and outline-tool sessions may then help train SwathMap's own mapping tools, such as field outlining and obstacle detection, with identifying details removed first: your account details, the names you give maps and fields, and device serial numbers. It's on for new uploads unless you turn it off; anything you uploaded before these terms took effect is used only if you opt in. Training copies are kept apart from your account for up to 2 years after your data is deleted. Turn training off and we delete them within 30 days.
- Our staff open a customer's maps only to support that customer, keep the service secure, meet a legal obligation, or prepare training data where training is on, for example to fix a map that failed.
- Photos are deleted 72 hours after your map is done. Maps are deleted 30 days after your subscription ends. Training copies follow the training rule above.
- We keep one copy of your maps. Download anything you can't afford to lose.
- Stored in the United States.
